How to Run an Antioch Circle
This is a simple, relational way to bring generations together over lunch.
1. Gather the Circle
- Aim for 4–8 people, mixing 20s, 30s, and 40s where possible.
- Invite people from different churches, ministries, or vocations.
- Make it clear: this is a conversation, not a class.
2. Set the Tone
- Open with a short welcome and a simple prayer.
- Agree on basic guidelines: listen well, no fixing, no preaching at each other.
- Remind everyone that stories are a gift, not a performance.
3. Use the LUNCH Questions
- Start with the Random Question button on the home page.
- Let the “Who answers?” prompt decide who shares first.
- Move slowly — it’s okay to cover just 1–2 questions deeply.
4. Make Room for Response
- After someone shares, allow a moment of silence before others respond.
- Ask: “What encouraged you?” or “What did you resonate with?”
- Offer prayer when appropriate, not as a requirement.
5. End with Next Steps
- Invite each person to name one small step they sense God inviting them to take.
- Encourage people to follow up with each other between lunches.
- Decide on the next date before you leave the table.
